Over the past 35 years, your support has given Ocala Royal Dames the opportunity to fund over $5,000,000 in cancer research in partnership with Moffitt Cancer Center and the University of Florida Health Cancer Center. This funding has driven groundbreaking research, including a direct hand in the development of Keytruda and Proton Therapy. Additionally, one of our funded research grants is making giant medical strides at this very moment. According to a publication in the Science Direct Journal, researchers at the University of Florida have made remarkable strides with an mRNA cancer vaccine that reprograms the immune system to target glioblastoma. Thanks to funded research grants at the University of Florida Cancer Center, provided in part by the Ocala Royal Dames for Cancer Research, Dr. Elias Sayour has achieved groundbreaking advancements!
